In this photo I've cut off the base of the nosecone with a hacksaw.
You'll see in subsequent photos.
I've also drilled a little hole where the NC shoulder hits the airframe
tube. The yellow string is Kevlar (not included with
rocket) that I'll use as the NC attachment point. This is 100 pound
test stuff and I'm using 3 strands of it looped.
I've bent a paperclip to fit through the hole I drilled and have fished
the loops of kevlar to the outside.
