Choice of Propellants and burn duration determine extent of ablative material and thrust producible with an adquate L* for the propellant combination and ratio.
Concentric injector port is standard and left untapped for the user to complete; propellants and mixture ratio can be modified by changing injector type and size. Additional pressure port is left untapped for user.
Material for nozzle as supplied is graphite, good for runs up to 50 seconds.
Oxidizing combustion products require LORODE (tm) Cermet nozzle for burn durations over 5 seconds. Longer or higher temperature combustion may require Tungsten.
Kit includes 1 ea graphite nozzle blank, 1 ea phenolic liner blank, combustion chamber (snap ring at forward end of motor, threaded at aft end), aft combustion chamber closure , cast aluminum bayonet mounting ring.
